| The film was a photographed wonderfully, the acting and directing was also good. You could not match the professional quality of this film with films already in distribution on the big screen today. This film to me was the best one of all that I saw. It was intriguing and made the viewer wonder what was reality and was not in this mans life. As we ventured through the film it gave you more and more reason to believe that Williamson was possibly living in dream world. The story is about Gabriel Williamson (John Harkrider) is a 32-year-old Wall Street lawyer with a secret past. Williamson is up for partner at his firm and is going through a psychiatric evaluation. This is where you start wondering what is real and what is all in his mind. He travels back-and-forth from his childhood to the present. Harkrider intertwines the man's life so it is like a giant jigsaw puzzle. Who is the unidentified man who follows Williamson and also seems to be stalking him? The end reveals to some who the mythical person is and such a subtle ending as any I have seen in a long time. This film is beyond extraordinary. Williamson talks about his marriage to the girl (Anna Lodej Pergola), who lived next door when he was a boy, his mother (a violinist) and there is another twist as he meets a jazz musician (Herb Lovelle). Then a place called Mitchellville, a town in South Carolina where something horrible happened becomes a mystery too. All this shows his secret and it takes awhile for you to discern what is reality. Even the ending makes you wonder. Only a few films weave in and out of reality as this one does with such skill. The story keeps you on the edge of your seat at each turn. I hope will be distributed so many people can see this very extraordinary film. |
