"Forever Plaid" -- What can I say that has not been said before? This show is so much fun! The show closed a few years ago
after an almost 5-year run...Now it is closing April 1, 2007. Don't miss this great show!
This is a fun show for people of all ages. There were young children enjoying the songs, as much as audience members who
were teenagers when the songs were popular in the 1960s. It is good clean fun as one person in attendance.
Did you like the songs of the 1960s? Do you like the harmonizing melodies of boy groups? Then this is the show for you! The
cast harmonizes well together, and brings back memories of the 1960s.
The show starts out with the group returning to earth, after an untimely death in 1964 to sing on stage in front of an audience
something they had never got to complete in life. They were on their way to a concert when their lives were cut short. This is
a funny story, not sad though. Sorry you will have to see the show, as if I give away too much then you might not enjoy the
jokes as much.
The cast of four, sing songs that were popular then and some are still popular now. There is even some audience interaction
that is fun and a sing-a-long.
Some numbers performed are, "Love is a Many Splendored Thing," "Three Coins in the Fountain," "Undecided Now," "Chain
Gang," "Matilda," "Catch a Falling Star," and "Lady of Spain." They also feature a tribute to Perry Como. All the songs are
performed great, and the lead-ins to some of the songs are very funny. They audience when I was leaving could not stop
talking about the funny parts and the lovely singing. They have gathered some great local talent for this show.
This is one of the best shows in Las Vegas!
You can't go wrong with a ticket price of under $40. They also offer a reasonable price for dinner and the show.
Since showtimes and ticket prices can change, please go to the Gold Coasts Website for more information.
