maintaining the original storyline and songs. The production is about 95 minutes long.
The two men worked to insure the "Phantom" experience would not be affected by this shorter run
time. No songs were cut from the production. All of ALWs songs remain in this production. Some
transitional musical moments have been adjusted by ALW.
Additions and enhancements to the production, include:
- Enhancement and modernization of illusions.
- Expansion of the original set designs, including more elaborate operas within the show, and the
grandest setting yet for the Phantom’s lair.
- A custom-built theatre, that expands the environment of the Paris Opera House into the audience.
- Use of sophisticated pyrotechnic effects on stage and throughout the theatre.
