Opens New Show
As The First Large Scale Entertainment
Production at
The Venetian Resort Hotel Casino
in Las Vegas
an updated version of their show in a custom-built, 1760-seat
theatre at The Venetian Resort Hotel Casino. The premiere
of Blue Man Group marks the first time The Venetian will play
host to a permanent entertainment production.
For their new home, Blue Man Group have redesigned and
modified their wildly popular show, which combines music,
comedy and multimedia theatrics to create a form of
entertainment that is totally unique. According to Blue Man
Group’s co-founders, Matt Goldman, Phil Stanton, and Chris
Wink, the Venetian show has been designed with emotional
impact in mind. According to Wink, “Our trademark has
become the blissful, party atmosphere that our show creates
in its own quirky way. The changes we are making are meant
to boost the audience’s elation to a whole new level.”
Blue Man Group’s appeal across a broad range of age
groups and cultural backgrounds is a quality that
distinguishes all of their endeavors, which include scoring
projects (most recently the animated feature Robots),
commercial projects (such as Intel), and television programs
(such as the ongoing storyline of Blue Man Group on
“Arrested Development”).
The Venetian Resort Hotel Casino, a recipient of the
Exxon/Mobile Four Star Award and the AAA’s Four Diamond
Award, is one of the world’s most luxurious resort and
convention destinations.
Blue Man Group performs nightly at 7:30 pm and/or 10:30
